I heard mixed reviews about this product and was wondering if I should get it or not
I'll be honest, it depends on what you want. My weather radio does a lot more than tell me the weather, it will charge my cell phone in a pinch, has a hand-crank flashlight, acts as a normal radio and probably some other stuff too. A lot of weather radios do all sorts of stuff, but they all tell the same weather.
Oregon Scientific is a solid brand, but if it costs more than $25 its probably overpriced. Just depends on what you want it to do. I would love a weather radio that made me a sandwich, but I've yet to find one.
