Confusing Riddle ^^ Try it?
A commuter is in the habit of arrivig at his suberban station each evening at exactly 5 o' clock. His wife always meets the train and drives him home. One day he takes an erlier train arriving at the station at 4. The weather is pleasant, so instead of telephoning home he starts walking along the route always taken by his wife. They meet somewhere on the way.He gets into the car and they drive home, arriving at theyre house ten minutes earlier than usual. assuming that the wife always drives at a constant speed, and that this occassion she left in time to meet the 5 o' clock train, can you determine how long the husband walked before he was picked up?? Hehehe explain your answer ( and get it right ) and you get best answer ^.^
Well if they arrived at home 10 minutes early then that means that they left from the point of where the man was 10 minutes earlier then they usually do. So this mean that she found him 5 minutes before she would usually pick him up and leave the train train station be cause there would be the rest of 5 minutes of her getting to the station and then 5 min of getting back to where she picked the man up. In other word meeting up early saved the woman 5 min of the way there and so that saved her that same 5 minutes of driving from the station back to the spot where she found him cutting of 5 minutes each way adding up to 10 minutes saved. So then if she meet him 5 minutes before 5 o'clock then it would have been 4:55 meaning he had walked for 55 minutes.
The Answer: 55 minutes.
