Thermo Hygrometers

I'm in the US military, stationed overseas. Monday-Friday we running in 40-50 degree weather in track jackets and shorts. I've had a cold since just after Thanksgiving, and it won't let me go. In the military, we do get free medical, but it's at the cost of how busy we are at work (my job being very busy right now). Its a plain old cold. A cough, is the main thing. Also, I'm a little stuffed up and I get headaches every now and then. I use the super strong blue cough drops in the morning, and the honey lemon cough drops during the day, as needed. I also shave my head and I swear, we stand outside waiting to be released to go run until my head feels numb to the touch.
I know, at 26 years old, the civilian part of my brain is telling me not to go outside, but it's the military life. And also, if you know any good remedies, let me know. when i'm at work, i try to keep my body from feeling cold at all (we have a fleece we can wear with our work uniform).
